They are used in thermal insulation system fabrication to control heat transfer or prevent condensation on pipes and pipe fittings, boilers, tanks, ducts, and other parts of hot and cold water systems; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; or other mechanical systems. The quilting pins is a small metal fastener in the thermal insulation system, but it’s function is to quilt the insulation in reusable&removable insulation blankets, pads, covers.
